Mantus is a Gothic Rock band, based in Germany. They were formed in 1997, but they first caught my attention with their remake of Marian of the Sisters of Mercy in 2002. Demut is their seventh album which is a show of their exuberant creativity and strength. Vanitas is the kiff-off chapter of their humility lesson. With powerful rocking sounds and a beat that flows harmonically with Some Kind of Stranger like sombre tenderness!
