Formed in Liverpool in 1988, Rosetta Stone are one of the defining names of second-wave gothic rock. With this album, they strike the perfect balance between honoring their legacy and moving forward. Confident, atmospheric, and consistently engaging, the album demonstrates that gothic rock can celebrate its roots without becoming trapped by them. Rather than relying on nostalgia alone, the band delivers a fresh and rewarding statement that stands among the strongest gothic releases of the year!

[Verse 1]
In the news, a life reduced to ink
Just an age, a street, a date to think
No one heard the clock complain
He would light a match to warm the gloom
Spoke to ghosts that lingered in the room
Even death forgets to stay

[Chorus]
Ohhhh! Life is waiting for
Regret the tears that dried
We let the echoes die
Ohhhh! I will write once more
Every verse becomes a tether
Guard your name forever

[Verse 2]
We are dust that dreams of being known
Carried far by winds we've never flown
Every footprint fades away

[Pre-Chorus]
Keep faith in meaning
Is this the end?
Still I'll be writing
Stay, my friend
