Katatonia has had an impact over the past 30 years on the progressive doom and gothic metal scenes. This is their 12th album ‘Sky Void of Stars’, which is perhaps one of the best albums in the group’s illustrious career. The band describes the album's tone as “a dynamic journey through vibrant darkness”. In fact, from the opening track “Austerity” where the vocals and pounding drums come in together, you know are in for a great ride!
