An amazing album from the legendary Slowdive with eight tracks, three of them mostly instrumental, the length feels purposeful and personal, like two lovers huddling together for warmth. In a wonderfully refreshing twist, Slowdive are more into electronic textures, post-punk ambience, and gothic sensibilities than they did during their initial run in the 1990s.
