Empyrium is a German symphonic folk/doom metal and neofolk/dark folk band. Twelve years after their last studio effort "Weiland", they return with a much-anticipated new album "The Turn Of The Tides" where nature and human emotions are highly reflected in it. Atmospheric music flows in a 44 minutes journey that doesn't feel long enough. And the immaculate crescendos on "The Days Before The Fall" are simply breathtaking, there's such a dense and soothing ambiance that picks up hairs all over your body.
